• Quarters

1. Balance a coaster on the pad of the middle finger of your nondominant hand.

2. Place a quarter on the coaster. The quarter should lie directly above the pad of your finger.

3. Flick the coaster with your other hand. The blow should be perfectly horizontal and should hit at the center of one side of the coaster.

4. If you've done it right, the coaster should fly out from under the quarter, leaving the quarter sitting on your finger.

Tips & Warnings

• Practice this trick at home before trying it at a bar. Bartenders and bouncers generally don't like to have rogue coasters and quarters flying all over the place.
• Make sure no one will be hit by the coaster before you flick it.
