How to Crochet a Soda Can Cover

This handy little cover can use up your yarn scraps and keep that little puddle of water from forming on your desk. Use a size H hook. You can adjust the size of your cover by using a different size hook.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Row 1: Chain (ch) four and slip stitch (sl st) into the first chain to form a ring.

  2. Step 2

    Row 2: Make 10 single crochet (sc) in ring and sl st in second ch.

  3. Step 3

    Row 3: Ch two - this will count as your first double crochet (dc); do two dc in first sc.

  4. Step 4

    Row 4: Make two half-double crochet (hdc) in next sc and one hdc in next sc. Continue until the end of the row and join.

  5. Step 5

    Rows 5-8: Make one hdc in between each half double crochet; ch one; repeat until the end of each row and join.

  6. Step 6

    Row 9: Do one sc in each stitch for one row.

  7. Step 7

    Row 10: Make one hdc in each space and join.

  8. Step 8

    Repeat row 10 until you have the desired length.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make a couple for each vehicle and the camper for those road trips.
