on 10/13/2007 Many GLBT seniors can not afford in retirement the high costs of the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, or LA or such resorts of the priveliged as Palm Springs or Santa Fe. If you want warm weather, beautiful beaches, and a vibrant GLBT community, consider the St. Petersburg area. With the current decline in prices, one can purchase a very nice condo now in an over 55 and gay friendly community for not much more than $100,000.
