Be sure to visit the Action Center at the Web site of the nation's largest gay and lesbian organization, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC.org).

Go next to the site of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force (TheTaskForce.org). You can keep up with the most pressing gay and lesbian issues there.

Consider joining some e-mail lists related to gay and lesbian activism. There may be a local one just for your community or a national one dealing with a specific issue that interests you. Find a list of some of the best of them in the links section of the Human Rights Campaign site (HRC.org).
