A "family car" sticker or some rainbow rings to hang around your neck can help identify you to other gays and lesbians. They're also a way to show pride in your community. Here's how to buy your pride merchandise online.

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Consider checking around at local gay and lesbian shops, if there are any, to see if they have what you're looking for. You can at least check prices there, and if you decide to buy locally, you'll be helping your gay dollars stay in your community.

  2. Step 2

Compare prices at several Web sites. You'll find that prices vary widely for exactly the same items, but you'll also find that some merchandise is only available from one or two places.

  3. Step 3

See if you can save some money by buying from a distributor rather than from a retailer. Look for distributors that sell directly to individuals on the Web.

  4. Step 4

Get a nice selection of merchandise from Zebraz.com. It claims to be the world's largest gay and lesbian mail-order department store, and it's easy to see why when you look at the site.

  5. Step 5

Locate some other stores around the world by visiting RainbowQuery.com. Its selection of online stores will keep you looking for hours.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember, never give out your credit card number online unless the site is secure and you know something about the company you're giving it to. You'll know the site is secure if the address of the page that asks for your card number begins with "https" rather than "http".
