A few basic shots can turn a rebounding free-for-all session on the foosball table into a series of controlled and successful shots leading to a score. The pull shot is one of them.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Foosball Tables
  • Foosballs
  1. Step 1

Push your 3-bar - the third bar from the goal - all the way to the wall.

  2. Step 2

Position the ball on the right side of the center man on your 3-bar. This is the starting position for the pull shot.

  3. Step 3

Pull the rod and the ball straight toward you. When done at speed during a game, this movement will allow you to get past your defender.

  4. Step 4

Lift your center man and move it behind the moving ball. Your ball should be making an L-shaped pattern.

  5. Step 5

Touch the ball with your center 3-man before shooting. This will keep the ball from bouncing and will make a more predictable shot.

  6. Step 6

Grab the bar firmly and flick your wrist to shoot the ball toward your target.

on 11/22/2005 When in your defensive zone, you can catch your opponent off guard by using your middle man to roll it back to your goalie. Make a hard shot, a bank or a straight shot. By rolling the ball back to your goalie, you put more power on the shot coming from him.

on 11/22/2005 Put your 3bar all the way to the far side of the table. Position the ball by the middle guy closest to you. Lift your guy up, pull towards you and put it down, tap it over with the far guy, and hit it in with the middle guy.
