Learning some basic shots can help turn haphazard rebounds on the foosball table into deliberate shots that end up in your opponent's goal.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Foosball Tables
  • Foosballs
  1. Step 1

Pin the ball with the middle man on your bar in the center of the table.

  2. Step 2

Hold the handle of the rod on your inner wrist.

  3. Step 3

Choose where you want to shoot. Push or pull on the rod to get the ball rolling laterally so that you can follow it with your man to where it needs to be to make the shot.

  4. Step 4

Pull up your arm when you shoot with a hard spin, rolling the handle until you catch it with your fingers. This will spin the rod backward (counterclockwise) into the goal.

  5. Step 5

Hold on to the handle after your shot - this will keep you from spinning the rod more than one revolution, which is illegal in foosball.
