Things You'll Need:
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. water
- 2 qts. strawberries
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice - freshly squeezed
- Groceries
- Blenders
- Citrus Reamer
- Ice Cream Makers

- Saucepans

Step 1
Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes until a syrup forms.

Step 2
Add the strawberries and lemon juice to the syrup.

Step 3
Puree the mixture in a blender.

Step 4
Strain the mixture with a fine strainer. Press on the solids to extract as much juice as possible.

Step 5
Put the mixture in an ice cream maker and freeze.

on 8/8/2006 Don't let the sorbet sit in the freezer for 2 days and expect it to be a sorbet. Stir every 1/2 hour.
