Place the ice cubes in the tub, reserving some to use as replacements.

Allow one player to go at a time.

  6. Step 6

Instruct the player that he or she must capture as many ice cubes as possible one at a time in 1 minute, using only the mouth.

  7. Step 7

Announce when the minute is up and let a new player begin.

  8. Step 8

Keep track of how many ice cubes each child collects.

  9. Step 9

Watch the ice cubes in the tub carefully and replace them with fresh ones when they become small enough to present a choking hazard.

Declare as the winner the child who has captured the most ice cubes.
