on 6/30/2006 When making a wedding scrapbook as a gift - make sure the couple you are giving it to will appreciate it! I made one once, where the couple looked at it once and said, "Next!" If you're putting a lot of time and effort into it, just please make sure it's something the newlyweds will enjoy and appreciate!

on 12/30/2005 I start with the engagement, showers, wedding and rehearsal. Then I finish it with the first year of their marriage through the first anniversary. I make pages with first vacation, first pet, first of all the holidays. I just put mats on the pages so all they have to do is glue on the pictures.

on 11/22/2005 If you already have scrapbooking skills and materials, you can go buy a picture frame with a large white mat border and decorate it with mementos from past occasions (birthday photos, Christmas cards, engagement photos, and any past memories you or the couple have will work).
Just cut and paste any of these unique items around any special photographs you want to celebrate. There are even some companies that make creative scrapbooking frames just for that purpose. You will want to make sure the components are made from acid-free materials if you are going to be placing special keepsakes and photos inside the frame.
What a perfect original gift they will never forget!

on 11/22/2005 Sometimes, when you buy a scrapbook, you don't use all of the pages. In the last pages you haven't used, get the guests to write a little note to the goom and bride.
