Measure where eye-level is comfortable for your family. Most adults find the range between 58 and 62 inches is about right.

Drill a hole the diameter specified by the manufacturer of the peephole.

Insert the viewer sleeve (the part with the bubble) from the outside of the door.

Screw the other half of the viewer into the sleeve from the inside of the door.

Tips & Warnings
Removing the door from its hinges makes installation easier - but isn't absolutely necessary.
