Tips & Warnings
Try to situate your balls in unsinkable positions. In cutthroat, the best offense is often a good defense.
When you have no balls on the table, do not shoot.
When you scratch, return one of each of your opponents' balls to the table even if one had none before.
When it's not your turn, help the shooter locate your other opponent's easily sinkable balls.

In Cutthroat, you need to make one ball from your wanted group first, before you can claim a group and start shooting your opponents balls down. This first ball you shoot to "declare" your group, comes back up and is spotted on the foot string spot (or as close to the spot as possible in a line to the lower rail, if there is already a ball on the spot). The same happens when your opponents make their first ball to declare their group also, until everyone has declared their group. The last person to declare a group does not automatically get the only remaining group after the other two have declared, they must also sink one ball from that group first to declare it as theirs. This game is a great 3 person game, and taking turns ganging up on your buddies is highly recommended and encouraged! All in good fun of course. -
