Play One Pocket in Pool
Pick a pocket and try to put eight balls into it before your opponent can do the same. Reputed to be Minnesota Fats' favorite game, One Pocket is a great strategy game - defense counts as much as offense.

Select a pocket before you begin. Your opponent must do the same.

Rack the balls in the triangle at random. Order and color do not matter in this game.

Alternate turns with your opponent. Your turn ends when you fail to sink your intended ball into your intended pocket.

Win when you have eight balls in your pocket before your opponent does.
Tips & Warnings
Select a corner pocket.
Balls that fall in non-chosen pockets are put on the foot spot between turns.
Balls that accidentally fall into your opponent's hole stay.
Hit a safe break, since chances are slim that you will sink a ball in your pocket on the break.
