Instructions

  • Billiard Lighting
  • Bridges For Pool
  • Cue Stick Chalk
  • Pool Balls
  • Pool Cue Carrying Cases

  • Pool Table Covers
  • Pool Table Horsehair Brushes
  • Pool Tables

  1. Step 1

Grasp the butt end of the cue with your strong hand (whichever hand feels more comfortable) about one foot down from the end.

  2. Step 2

Cradle the stick in the palm of you hand.

  3. Step 3

Grip the cue with your thumb, index finger, and middle finger. The other fingers should remain loose and comfortable.

  4. Step 4

Grip the cue firmly, but only as firmly as is comfortable. You should not have to exert extra effort on your grip.

Tips & Warnings
  • Once you get your grip established, you shouldn't have to think about it each shot. It should just be right there. Not too tight, not too light.

on 11/22/2005 If you turn your grip hand toward your face, you will notice the two middle fingers go down the middle of your arm (down the line as I call it). By putting the index finger on cue you are now putting it out of line.
