on 8/14/2006 When running, it's a good idea to wear construction boots. They should have the high top to keep ankle support, but if you can run your route in construction boots, your feet will be walking on air come fight night.

on 1/16/2006 Building muscles and keeping fit are obviously a must for a successful boxer. But not every type of weight lifting and muscle building is suitable for boxers. Take bench press for example; With your thrust upward to lift the bar, you require deceleration to stop the bar from flying up and then landing on you! This builds your muscles but also familiars them with the process of deceleration! If you were punching someone would you want to ease off at the last second? No? Then don't train your muscles to do so, do exercises that allow the full force of your arms and other muscles!

on 11/22/2005 Make sure you eat healthy every day. A bad diet can ruin all that you have worked for on those hard training days. Keep your discipline on diet and exercises. You'll start seeing real boxing material results.
