Instructions

    • 1

Work a ring of four double stitches, a picot, four double stitches, a picot, four double stitches, a picot, and, finally, four double stitches.

    • 2

      Close the ring.

    • 3

Leave a small space and begin to make a second ring the same as the first one.

    • 4

Make the first four double stitches. Now you'll join the second ring to the first ring.

    • 5

Insert a crochet hook through the last picot made on the first ring.

    • 6

Pull a loop of the ring thread through the picot just large enough to pass the shuttle through.

    • 7

Pass the shuttle through the loop and tighten the loop.

    • 8

Continue on with the second ring. The "join" counts as the first picot of the next ring. The join also takes the place of the first half of the double stitch. Continue by making the second half of the double stitch and continuing the remainder of the pattern.
