How to Tat a Ring

        Make a series of double stitches.

        Slip the work off your left hand.

        Pull the shuttle thread gently to close the ring. Pull the thread until the stitches meet completely and the ring is closed.

    Tips & Warnings

    • If the ring won't close (if the stitches won't slide), there's a stitch somewhere in the ring whose loop was not transferred properly. You'll need to remove the knot before the ring will close.
