Why stop at the coffee shop on the way to work when you could brew your own at home for just a few pennies? Coffeemakers aren't expensive and are simple to operate.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Coffee Tables
  • Coffees
  • Cream
  • Sugars
  • Coasters
  • Coffee Cups
  • Coffee Filters
  • Coffee Makers
  • Coffeemaker Cleaners
  • Teaspoons

Step1
Be sure the coffeemaker is clean.
Step2
Use fresh, cold water to fill the water reservoir. Put in just a little bit more than you intend to drink, as some will be absorbed by the coffee in the filter.
Step3
Put a paper filter in the filter basket.
Step4
Use the manufacturer's suggested grind for your coffeemaker.
Step5
Begin with 1 tbsp. coffee per 6 oz. water, then adjust for your personal preference.
Step6
Turn the coffeemaker on.
Step7
Wait until the coffee is brewed, and pour yourself a steaming cup.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep your coffee in an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator or freezer to keep it fresh.
  • Let coffee reach room temperature before brewing it.
  • Keep your coffeemaker clean for the best-tasting coffee.
