How to Make a Flower Bouquet Card for Mother's Day

This card will let Mother enjoy her flower bouquet all summer long.

Things You'll Need:

• Mother's Day Greeting Cards
• Blank Cards
• Calligraphy Books
• Calligraphy Pens
• Gardening Gloves
• Glues
• Seed Packets
• Scissors
• Scissors
• Card Stock
• Colored Card Stock
• Construction Paper
• Envelopes
• Watercolor Paper
• Rulers

1. Use 5-by-7-inch card blanks or 10-by-14-inch sheets of card stock, midweight watercolor paper or construction paper to use as your card base.

2. Purchase envelopes to fit, or make your own by using the "Make Envelopes" link, under Related eHows.

3. Fold the card paper lengthwise so that it measures 5 by 14 inches and cut it in half, making two 5-by-7-inch cards.

4. 

   Print at the top of your card, "Happy Mother's Day," and at the bottom, "A Bouquet Just for You."

5. 

   Attach flower seed packets to the front of the card like a collage, using a removable adhesive.

6. 

   Open the card and attach one glove to each side of the card with removable adhesive.

7. 

   Print at the top of card around the gloves, "Your hands have filled my life with ..." and list all around the card the things your mother has done for you.

8. Attach more seed packets or small packets of fertilizer on the back of the card with a removable adhesive.

Tips & Warnings

• You can also use a pretty card and just attach the gloves and seed packets on the open pages of the card.
• Use your own words to express how you feel about the special person in your life.
• If gardening is not her thing, make a cooking, spa or herbal tea card using the same principle as above.
• Use only a removable adhesive to attach items to the card.
