How to Create a Mother's Charm Bracelet

A charm bracelet can make a special Mother's Day gift. Create your own using birthstones and other meaningful charms.

Things You’ll Need:

• Bracelets
• Charms

1. Purchase a bracelet that is made up of links large enough to attach charms to.
2. Look at a birthstone list to determine what each child's birthstone is. You will be able to choose genuine or synthetic stones.
3. Shop at local jewelry shops or online for charms containing a birthstone for each child. There are many available. They can be found in the shape of hearts, booties or children.
4. Consider buying some other charms to add to the bracelet. Find some that represent special things about the family or about mom. Get a dog charm to represent the family dog, a spoon charm to highlight mom's cooking abilities or any other charm that will have meaning to her.
5. Attach the charms to the bracelet using the links they come with.
6. Present the gift to mom in an attractively wrapped box.
