After you break your boots is, they should become fairly comfortable. At some point, however, they'll become too broken in and won't fit properly anymore.

Have your feet begun to slip and/or slide inside your boot?

Do you need to wear more socks to fill the volume of your boots?

Are your boots less comfortable than before?

Poke around the inside of your boot with a finger.

Check to see if the liner has any give. Or is it rock hard?

Pull the liner out of the shell and examine it visually.

You can have liners custom made for your foot and then inserted into the shell of your boot.
Replacing your liner is much easier than finding a new boot.
