Keeping your child warm will considerably improve your ski day. Proper fitting goggles keep wind and snow out, thus keeping your child's face warm.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Bring your child when you shop for goggles. You can make sure they fit correctly and allow your child to help in the decision-making process.

  2. Step 2

Check to see how effective of an air flow system the goggles have. When more air circulates, chances of fogging decrease.

  3. Step 3

Determine if the band adjusts enough to fit your child's head.

  4. Step 4

Choose a suitable lens color. Orange or red both are common choices for all-around conditions.

  5. Step 5

Shot at ski swaps and second-hand stores if need be. Goggles have a tendency to be broken and/or lost negating the need for costly name brand goggles.

Tips & Warnings
  • After making some astute selections, allow your child to pick the goggles out.
  • Make sure the lens hasn't been scratched.
