You may want to remove a form or schedule from TurboTax (tax year 1999) if it transferred from a previous TurboTax return and isn't needed for this year, or if you wish to experiment with various options.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Select Show My Return from the Forms menu.

  2. Step 2

Click the name of the form you wish to remove.

  3. Step 3

    Click Remove.

  4. Step 4

    Click Yes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Removing a form does not delete the blank form from the TurboTax program.
  • Rather than removing a form or schedule, consider saving your return under a new name or starting a new return.
  • TurboTax will not let you remove the Federal Information Worksheet or the State Assistant Worksheet. Edit the existing information or start a new return if you need to change that information.
  • The form or schedule you remove will affect other forms and change amounts created from that form or schedule. TurboTax will warn you if you are removing a form that includes figures used by another form.
  • You cannot recover a form that you remove.
