How to Create a Pompom Easter Bunny

Easter's on its way! Add this pompom cottontail to your Easter basket for some hippity-hoppity fun.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pin Backs
  • Wiggly Eyes
  • Hair Clips
  • Headbands
  • Aleene's Tacky Glue
  • Glue Guns
  • Hot Glues
  • Pink And White Felt
  • Small Pink Pompoms
  • Scissors
  • Scissors
  • small, medium and large white pompoms
  1. Step 1

    Glue a large and a medium white pompom together with craft glue to make the head and body of the bunny.

  2. Step 2

    Cut four oval shapes from a piece of white felt to make the feet. The two back feet should be slightly larger than the front ones.

  3. Step 3

    Glue the feet to the bottom of the body of the bunny.

  4. Step 4

    Glue a small pompom to the back of the body to make the tail.

  5. Step 5

    Cut two ear-shaped pieces from white felt and two smaller pieces, the same shape, from pink felt.

  6. Step 6

    Glue the pink felt pieces on top of the white ear pieces to make the pink insides of the ears.

  7. Step 7

    Glue the ear pieces to the head.

  8. Step 8

    Glue one small pink pompom and two small white ones to the bunny's face to make the nose and cheeks.

  9. Step 9

    Glue on two wiggly eyes to finish the face.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use your imagination and different sizes and colors of pompoms to create other fun creatures.
  • Make Easter jewelry by gluing your bunny to a pin back, hair clip, or headband with a hot-glue gun.
  • Small pompoms and wiggly eyes are a choking hazard for young children.
  • A hot-glue gun should always be handled by an adult. Hot glue can cause serious burns.
