How to Make Your Own Easter Grass

When you make your own Easter grass, you can choose the color and texture of the grass and customize it to fit your needs.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Confettis
  • Curling Ribbons
  • Rolling Cutters
  • Cellophanes
  • Glitter
  • Cutting Boards
  • Construction Paper
  • Paper Shredders
  • Yardsticks
  • Crepe Paper

    Use a Paper Shredder

  1. Step 1

    Use colored tissue paper, construction paper, crepe paper or cellophane.

  2. Step 2

    Set your shredder to different settings to get different widths.

  3. Step 3

    Crinkle the strips you have made to give them some volume.

  4. Use a Rolling Cutter

  5. Step 1

    Lay a sheet of any paper you choose onto a cutting surface.

  6. Step 2

    Use a rolling cutter (the type used by quilt makers and other crafters) to slice strips of any width you choose from the material.

  7. Step 3

    Hold a yardstick or other straight item on the surface of the paper.

  8. Step 4

    Cut along the straightedge to be sure you get a straight cut.

  9. Step 5

    Crinkle the strips you have made to give them some volume.
