Rate: (1 Ratings)

You can schedule pictures to appear at specified times - a banner advertisement that appears only on Memorial Day weekend, for example. FrontPage 2000 automates this task for you.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Start FrontPage and open the Web page where the scheduled picture will appear.
Step2
Choose Component from the Insert menu and select Scheduled Picture.
Step3
Type the URL of the image that is to appear during the scheduled time, or click on the Browse button and locate the image on your hard drive.
Step4
In the next box, type the URL of the image that will appear before and after the scheduled time. Click Browse to manually select an image from your hard drive.
Step5
Choose the start and end times for the scheduled picture's appearance. Keep in mind that this schedule will reflect your Web server's time zone, so if you are on the West Coast and your server is on the East Coast, adjust the time accordingly.
Step6
Save the page and upload it to your Web server.

Tips & Warnings

  • When uploading the site to your Web server, be sure to upload both the scheduled picture and the regular image.
