How to Add a Page Transition Effect With FrontPage 2000

Start your page in a unique way with a page transition effect. FrontPage 2000 allows you to set transition effects for each page in your web.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Start FrontPage and open the desired web. Double-click on the page the effect will be added to.

  2. Step 2

    Choose Format from the menu bar and select Page Transition.

  3. Step 3

    Select the Page Event (Page Enter, Page Exit, Site Enter or Site Exit) and choose the desired effect from the right-hand box.

  4. Step 4

    Enter the amount of time the effect should last in the duration box.

  5. Step 5

    Save the page and preview it in a browser.

Tips & Warnings
  • Many transitions are available. If you're not sure about which to use, try selecting each one and previewing it until you find one you like.
  • You can select several different transition effects for one page. Select each Page Event, choose the effect and enter the duration, then choose another transition and enter the same information.
