Keep the ooohs and aaahs coming from friends and relatives when you dress your baby in festive prints and cool pastels this Easter.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Colored Satin Ribbons
  • Baby Hats With Bunny Ears
  • One-piece Baby Outfit With Cottontail
  • Portable Baby Carriages
  • Satin Or Color-coordinated Baby Blankets
  1. Step 1

Choose pastels: pink and lavender for baby girls and blue for your baby boy. Or opt for gender-neutral brights such as peppermint, melon and lemon.

  2. Step 2

Look for decorative prints, appliqués and trims. A satin bunny appliqué, embroidered eggs or traditional lace and ribbon will dress your baby up. Material printed with small animals, springtime scenes and bouquets offers a more casual, yet still adorable alternative.

  3. Step 3

Remember your baby's blanket. Match a satin or faux velvet wrap with a dressier outfit. Coordinate the color in your baby's blanket with a casual outfit.

  4. Step 4

Consider a theme for your baby. A bright yellow, fuzzy one-piece ensemble works great as an Easter chick, or pair a bunny-ear hat with a colorful cotton-tailed one-piece outfit.

Tips & Warnings
  • Decorate your baby's portable carriage. Tie a large color-coordinated ribbon around the handle, or two small ones where the handles meet the body.
