How to Plan an Easter Outfit for a Boy

Easter is the perfect occasion for your little guy to don some dapper duds. A smart, dressy-casual ensemble works well for a multitude of activities.

• Boy's Men's Button-down Shirts
• Boy's Wide Cords Pants
• Boys Long Sleeve Children's T-shirts
• Irons

1. Consider your Easter Sunday activities. Slacks, a button-down shirt, a clip tie and sweater, if not a suit, will work great for church services and brunch in a nice restaurant. Bring him to Grandma's, an Easter picnic or a community gathering in cords and a hand-knit sweater.
2. Coordinate basic colors such as dark navy, crimson, khaki and spring greens for a dressier look. Choose bright yellows, denim blues and caramel browns for casual outfits.
3. Keep Easter motifs subtle. Opt for a hand-knit rabbit sweater rather than an appliqué of baby chicks or bunnies on a farm.
4. Leave tennis shoes at home. Instead, choose a dress shoe in a dark color.
5. Pull out or buy a special outfit that hasn't gotten much wear or tear at the daycare or on the playground. Iron his clothes with yours, and play up how sharp he looks in his special attire.
