1. Attend formal church services or a fancy brunch in a suit and colorful shell. Select dressy-casual separates for an outdoor picnic, a parade or a community center gathering.
2. Consider your dressy-casual options. Pair comfortable slacks with a silk twinset, or an A-line skirt and linen shirt. Or, coordinate a sleeveless dress with an oversize print blouse worn unbuttoned.
3. Choose a base of navy or soft black and layer on the colors of spring: lemon, melon, mint, rose, sky blue, mandarin and garnet.
