How to Prevent Salt Water From Draining Out Your Nose in Class

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paper Towels
  • Paper Towels
  • Noseplugs
  • Paper towels
  1. Step 1

    Stay out of the water (though you're not likely to follow this step).

  2. Step 2

    Wear a nose plug.

  3. Step 3

    Clear your sinuses while you're out in the water. That means blow your nose.

  4. Step 4

    Force the salt water out of your nose when you get out of the water by bending over at the waist and putting your head between your knees. Bring your chin to your chest, then tilt your head back.

  5. Step 5

    Prevent salt water that is trapped in your sinuses from draining out by remaining upright at all times after you get out of the water.
