Tips & Warnings
Rent a car rather than a scooter. It's a much safer way to get around the island.
Walk or take taxis if you need to get around Waikiki.
Watch out for pickpockets when you're in crowded areas.
Keep an eye on your belongings. Violent crime is rare, but petty theft is common.
