A basket, some Easter grass, a plastic bag and a cell pack of blooming annuals combine to make a centerpiece to grace even the most lavish Easter feast.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Easter Basket Grass
  • Annual Plants
  • Easter Baskets
  • Chocolate Easter Eggs
  • Plastic Bags
  • Old Newspapers
  • Plastic bags
  1. Step 1

Line an Easter basket with a plastic bag. The liner will prevent water from leaking through the basket.

  2. Step 2

Place a cell pack of blooming annuals inside the lined basket. Some good flower choices are pansies, violas, nemesia and sweet alyssum. If the cell pack sits too low in the basket, place some crumpled newspaper beneath it. If your basket is very large, you may need to use more than one cell pack of annuals - try mixing types or colors of flowers.

  3. Step 3

Tuck plastic Easter grass around the annuals to hide the plastic bag and the cell pack container.

  4. Step 4

Add a few foil-wrapped chocolate eggs for some extra color.

Tips & Warnings
  • Plant the annuals outside in your garden or in window boxes after the holiday.
  • Put the entire centerpiece on a waterproof liner if you intend to leave it in place for more than a day.
