How to Create a Screen Saver in PhotoDeluxe

With Adobe PhotoDeluxe, you can create a custom screen saver that uses one or more of your own photos. These instructions apply to Adobe PhotoDeluxe 2.0 for Windows.

Things You'll Need:

    Making a Screen Saver From One Image

  1. Step 1

    Open and edit your file in PhotoDeluxe.

  2. Step 2

    From the File menu, click on Send To.

  3. Step 3

    Click Screensaver. Your screen saver is created automatically.

  4. Step 4

    To view the screen saver, open the Windows Start menu and choose Settings, then Control Panel. Double-click Display, then click the Screensaver tab.

  5. Step 5

    Find your screen saver in the list, then click Preview.

  6. Making a Screen Saver From Multiple Images (Slide Show)

  7. Step 1

    Create a screen saver as described above.

  8. Step 2

    Open the second image to be added to the screen saver slide show.

  9. Step 3

    Click the Send button. A list of tabs appears.

  10. Step 4

    Click the To Disk tab.

  11. Step 5

    Click the Make Screen Saver button.

  12. Step 6

    Click the 1 Select tab. A window appears.

  13. Step 7

    Name your file. Click OK. The photo appears in Hold Photo.

  14. Step 8

    Drag it to the left side of the screen.

  15. Step 9

    Click on the Open tab. Double-click on the photo to open it, then click the Add button.

  16. Step 10

    If you want to add more photos, repeat the selection process. If not, click the View tab.

  17. Step 11

    Select any photos you don't want, then click the Remove button.

  18. Step 12

    When ready, click the Create tab, then click the Create button to create your screen saver slide show.

  19. Step 13

    Click Done.

Tips & Warnings
  • Screen savers can consume a lot of system resources. The more photos you use, the more resource hungry your screen saver will be.
