How to Delete Pages From a QuarkXPress Document

I Did This Rate: (1 Ratings)

Sometimes when you edit a document, you need fewer pages than originally intended. QuarkXPress 3.3 and 4.0 for Macintosh makes it easy to delete pages from a Quark document. Windows instructions may vary slightly.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • QuarkXPress (Mac)
  • QuarkXPress (Windows)
Step1
Go to the Page menu.
Step2
Select Delete.
Step3
Enter the page numbers for the pages you want to delete. For example, 2 to 5.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure the page numbers you delete correspond with the actual, physical page position of the pages within the entire document. For example, if your document's title page, table of contents page and copyright page precede the document's page 1, then page 1 may really be page 4 in the physical layout of your document.
  • You can always choose Show Document Layout from the View menu, and then double-click on a page number - this will give you an instant view of that page.
