You can create a visual site map and view it, print it or add it to a Web page with Dreamweaver 3.0. Use the site map either to check the structure of your site and make sure that it matches your intentions or to give your site users a way to instantly navigate to any page in the site.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Start the Dreamweaver program and open the desired site.

  2. Step 2

In the Site box, choose Site Map.

  3. Step 3

Click on the File menu and choose Save Site Map. You will be prompted to save the map; save it in the same folder as the other Dreamweaver images for the site.

  4. Step 4

View the site map in a paint program or print it.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you are a Windows user, you will need to convert the image to a JPEG file before adding it to a Web page.
  • The saved site map will not change when you change links. Each time you update or refresh links on your site, create a new site map.
