How to Sort a Table With Dreamweaver
Sort the information in a Web page table quickly and easily with Dreamweaver 3.

Start the Dreamweaver program and open the page the table is located.

Select the table, column or rows to be sorted.

Open the Commands menu and select Sort Table.

Select the Sort parameters (such as alphabetical). If your table includes a header row, uncheck the Sort Includes First Row box so that the header is not included in the sort. Click OK.

Save the page when finished.

Tips & Warnings
Tables that contained merged rows cannot be sorted. To avoid this, split the cells, sort and then remerge the cells.

In newer versions of Dreamweaver, if you have "Live View" enabled you do not seem to be able to access the "Sort Table..." context menu option. Turning off "Live View" (not to be confused with "Design View") seems to do the trick!
