How to Fold Pants

To store pants neatly in drawers - without all the wrinkles - line up the seams and stack pants neatly.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Lay pants face-up on flat surface.

  2. Step 2

    Fold lengthwise so that outer and inner seams and cuffs are lined up.

  3. Step 3

    Fold up bottom of cuff up to top of back pocket.

  4. Step 4

    Fold up once more, bringing the bottom of the fold to the top of that back pocket.

Tips & Warnings
  • To fold pleated pants, simply fold lengthwise along the pleat instead of at the seams. Follow the rest of the directions above.

on 11/22/2005 We put all jeans and slacks on pant stretchers (the wire ones) and you have a crease when they are dry and seldom have to iron. They never shrink at all. My husband always puts them on the jeans and stretches them at the crease line.
