How to Customize the Look of the Outlook Calendar

You can customize the look of the Outlook 2000 calendar to fit your personal tastes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Click the Calendar icon in the left pane of the Outlook window.

  2. Step 2

    Open the View menu and choose Current View, then a type of view (such as Day/Week/Month or Recurring Appointments) to change the View.

  3. Step 3

    Choose the Customize Current View command from the Current View submenu to change fonts and other specifications for the view.

  4. Step 4

    In the box that appears, click Other Settings to change fonts and other preferences.

  5. Step 5

    To change the number of days displayed per week and other options, open the Tools menu and choose Option.

  6. Step 6

    In the Calendar section, click Calendar Options.

  7. Step 7

    Change the number of days displayed per week, start and end times for the calendar, the background color for the daily option, or whatever you'd like.

Tips & Warnings
  • In Day/Week/Month view, use the buttons at the top of the calendar to change to days, weeks, or the month.
