Raves bring people together for the music, but fashion is also part of the scene. Remember that raver chicks are both girly and grungy, lovable and hard-nosed.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Hair Accessories
  • Handbags
  • Sneakers
  • Women's Boots
  • Women's Casual Tops
  • Women's Causal Pants
  • Women's Sandals
  • Women's Shorts
  • Body Glitters
  • Body Shimmer
  • Makeup Kits
  1. Step 1

Expect to sweat off all your makeup, but dust on baby-blue or light-silver eye shadow anyhow. Be liberal with the body glitter.

  2. Step 2

Tie your hair in pigtails. Or sweep it all up in a messy bun and stud it with little butterfly clips.

  3. Step 3

Wind plenty of shiny plastic beads around your neck and wrists.

  4. Step 4

    Dress in loud, primary colors.

  5. Step 5

Wear soft fabrics like felt, corduroy and velvet.

  6. Step 6

Squeeze into a halter or spaghetti-strap top. Or try a baby T-shirt, or a sports bra on its own. Dress as lightly as possible since you'll sweat profusely.

  7. Step 7

Bottoms should be big and roomy so that you can move easily. Slip on baggy pants that sit low on your waist and show a little belly.

  8. Step 8

Wear sneakers or other flat shoes in which you can dance comfortably for long periods.

  9. Step 9

Consider strapping on a mini backpack, maybe in the shape of a furry animal, that can hold your belongings.

Tips & Warnings
  • Accessorize with angel wings (the kind you might see as part of a Halloween costume).
  • Paint your nails with glow-in-the-dark polish.

on 10/21/2008 I'm oldskool '92 N Carolina crew and I feel it must be brought to people's attention that..It is by default that parties are associated w/ drugs....but to say that it's not about the drugs is nieve! Lasers and bass are synonymous with these events - and practically every type of event thrown now....whether it be a Coldplay concert, a Rolling Stones show...or Usher - drugs are a part of our society most definitely and permeate every aspect of American society now. This has been going on for eons; is pretty much un-avaiodible if you want to hear yer music of choice, and it seems Raves are just a relatively new forum for such.....All you can really do is preach on how to maintain hydration and SOMEWHAT of an equilibrium so as to not bring anybody down or cause medical emergency harm. The Spiritual Movement train left tha station about 18 years ago...So there's a lot to learn from for sur
