Instructions

    • 1

Expect to sweat off all your makeup, but dust on baby-blue or light-silver eye shadow anyhow. Be liberal with the body glitter.

    • 2

Tie your hair in pigtails. Or sweep it all up in a messy bun and stud it with little butterfly clips.

    • 3

Wind plenty of shiny plastic beads around your neck and wrists.

    • 4

      Dress in loud, primary colors.

    • 5

Wear soft fabrics like felt, corduroy and velvet.

    • 6

Squeeze into a halter or spaghetti-strap top. Or try a baby T-shirt, or a sports bra on its own. Dress as lightly as possible since you'll sweat profusely.

    • 7

Bottoms should be big and roomy so that you can move easily. Slip on baggy pants that sit low on your waist and show a little belly.

    • 8

Wear sneakers or other flat shoes in which you can dance comfortably for long periods.

    • 9

Consider strapping on a mini backpack, maybe in the shape of a furry animal, that can hold your belongings.

Tips & Warnings

  • Accessorize with angel wings (the kind you might see as part of a Halloween costume).

  • Paint your nails with glow-in-the-dark polish.

Unfortunately, this doesn't really apply to today's teenagers. You see a lot more 'emo-goth' and 'industrial punk' styles, just jazzed up with a lot of neon and glowing junk. And I agree with akumaxkami, velvet and felt really aren't practical when you're going to be sweating a lot, neither is PVC for that matter. You're better to stick to light fabrics.
