With Dreamweaver, you can create a Web page using a visual approach (like a standard desktop publishing program) and HTML together. Dreamweaver is powerful, but starting a new page is easy as opening a menu! These instructions use Dreamweaver 3.0.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Start the Dreamweaver program.
Step2
From the File menu, choose New. A blank page appears.
Step3
Add the components of the page (links, images, and so on) using the toolbars or menus. Click and type to add text.
Step4
Select File and choose Save As to save your work when finished.
Step5
Choose Preview in Browser from the File menu and select the desired browser to preview your work.

Tips & Warnings

  • Save the Web page you are working on as a template by choosing Save As Template from the File menu. When creating new Web pages, choose New from Template to use that template.
  • See the Related eHows for information on adding images, links, text and other components.
