When your dentist appointment is rescheduled, you can record the change in Outlook 97, 98 or 2000 with one hand, while holding the telephone in your other hand.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Click on the Calendar icon in the far left pane of the Outlook window.
Step2
Click on the date of the appointment (unless your calendar is already open to that date).
Step3
Click on the bar to the left of the appointment to turn your cursor into a four-way arrow.
Step4
Drag the appointment to another time frame, another date, or both.
Step5
Double-click on the appointment to make changes or add information.

Tips & Warnings

  • Moving one appointment in a series of recurring appointments will change the date or time for only that specific appointment. To change the recurrence pattern, open the appointment, then click on the Recurrence button.
  • To set start or end times that do not coincide with a half hour, you'll need to open the appointment window.
