How to Add Rolling Credits to a Movie in Premiere
You can add rolling credits to an Adobe Premiere 4.0 movie, just the same as you see at the cinema.
- Difficulty:
- Moderate
Instructions
-
-
1
Open or create a project.
-
2
Open the File menu and select New, then Title.
-
3
Click the tiny icon in the extreme top left of the window that appears.
-
4
Select Options from the menu that appears. The Display Options dialog box appears.
-
5
Make a title clip that's the same width as your final movie output, but much taller. For example, if your movie is 160 by 120, and you have approximately four screens of credits to show, set the Title window to 160 by 500. Click OK.
-
6
Type your credits in the Title window.
-
7
Open the Title menu and select Center Horizontally.
-
8
Open the File menu and select Save As. Name and save your title clip.
-
9
Drag the file into a video track in the Construction window.
-
10
Click on the clip to select it.
-
11
From the Clip menu, click Filter, then Image Pan Filter.
-
12
Click Add in the box that appears.
-
13
The Image Pan Filter window opens. Set the Start Rectangle to the height of your final output (in this case, 120). A small selected rectangle appears on the Start Rectangle. If it isn't already at the top of the Start Rectangle box, drag it to the top.
-
14
Click Copy to copy the settings to the End window.
-
15
A small rectangle appears on the End Rectangle. Drag it to the bottom of the End Rectangle box.
-
16
Click OK, then click OK again.
-
17
Save your project.
-
18
Preview your rolling credits.
