How to Combine Multiple Movies in Premiere

In Premiere 4, it's often more convenient to create several projects, then combine them into one longer movie when you're ready to compile or print to tape. You can assemble a movie of up to 1 hour in duration.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Adobe Premiere
  1. Step 1

    Open or create a project to import the movie into.

  2. Step 2

    Open the File menu and select Import, then Project.

  3. Step 3

    Select the project you want to import, then click Open.

  4. Step 4

    In the box that appears, click to indicate whether you want to import the project to the beginning, the end or the edit line. Click OK. The Construction window now contains the video from the project that you just opened.

  5. Step 5

    Repeat with other projects if you want.

  6. Step 6

    Save your project.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also import a compiled movie and drag it to the Construction window.
