You can import other files - such as still images, sound or animations - into Adobe Premiere 4 movies.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Adobe Premiere

Step1
Open or create a Premiere project.
Step2
Open the File menu and click on Import.
Step3
Choose File, Directory or Project.
Step4
Select your file or files, then click Open.
Step5
Your files appear in the Project window. Save your project.

Tips & Warnings

  • Adobe Premiere allows you to import an array of file formats, including AVI, QuickTime, PhotoShop, bitmap and PICT files, TIFF files, Targa files, animations (such as FLC or FLI), AIFF and WAV sound files, and more.
  • Source clips should match the size of your final production. If the source clips have the same aspect ratio, Premiere will scale the clips. If the aspect ratio is different, you will get better results if you scale your source clip before importing.
