Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Clean the lint filter or screen before each load.
Step2
Inspect washed items before placing them in the dryer. The dryer's heat will set in stains that have not been removed.
Step3
Shake each garment before transferring it from the washer to the dryer.
Step4
Choose a dryer cycle. Opt for the regular cycle if most of the load is all-cotton fabrics, or set it on permanent-press cycle if the load consists mostly of synthetic or permanent-press fabrics (a cool-down period prevents wrinkling).
Step5
Add a fabric softener sheet.
Step6
Remove the clothes once they're dry and hang them immediately.

on 11/22/2005 If you forget a shirt or something in the dryer, just put a damp washcloth in with that item and let them dry together for less than 5 minutes. There will be no wrinkles. It works every time!

on 11/22/2005 1. Apply a petroleum distillant (GooGone) to the inner surfaces of the dryer. It may be effective to work one section at a time.
2. Allow the petroleum distillant to sit for about 30 seconds.
3. Wipe the petroleum distillant to remove stains.
4. IMPORTANT! Many household, petroleum distillants included, are FLAMMABLE. Follow the following step to remove the distillant before bringing heat into the dryer.
5. Clean the inside of the dryer THOROUGHLY with fresh water.
6. After you are sure that all chemicals are removed from the interior of the dryer, resume usage as you would normally.
