In FrontPage, although you can use an image located on your hard disk, it's better to import images, files and folders into your web. That way, you ensure that all necessary files will be uploaded to the Web when you publish the site. This tutorial uses FrontPage 2000.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Start the FrontPage program and open an existing web.
Step2
Open the Insert menu and choose File.
Step3
Choose Add File to add individual files or Add Folder to add an entire folder.
Step4
Select the folders to add and click OK.
Step5
Continue adding files or folders as needed. Click OK when finished.
Step6
Move files to the proper folders (for example, move images to the Images folder) as needed.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you know which images you plan to use in your Web page beforehand, it is a good idea to import those images before beginning the Web page. This allows you to choose the images more easily when adding them to a page.
