    Things You'll Need

    • Hose Attachment Vaccuum
    • Fresh Baking Soda

Open the windows in the room where the sofa is, allowing fresh air to pull out much of the odor. Leave the windows open for several hours if possible.

      • 2

Beat the entire sofa with your hand, or with a large spatula or serving spoon, to stir up the stuffing and lift the smell from the fibers.

      • 3

Sprinkle fresh baking soda over the entire sofa. Let it stand for several hours.

      • 4

Use a vacuum attachment to suck the baking soda off the sofa and out of the crevices.

we used Vamoose 1808T on our daughter's leather jacket and in her closet; it works well at getting the smell of smoke out of things. She took the bottle and used it during a stay at the Marriott (and never got charged for smoking in the room).

Use WD40. Just spray it on the crayon markings on the wall and wipe them off! Works great! WD40 also works good to get stickers off glass and mirrors.

Put 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 tablespoon vinegar, and 2 cups water in a spray bottle and spray the carpets and furniture. Boil a pan of vinegar and walk around the house with it and put cups of vinegar in the corners of the house.
