-
Step 1
Present your valentine with a bouquet of flowers that really know how to throw their scent: stargazer lillies, roses, jasmine and gardenias.
-
Step 2
Offer a gift that further tantilizes the senses, such as lavender massage oil, perfume or cologne, essential oils for the bath or steam room, dessert wine or port, or CDs of a favorite performer.
-
Step 3
Plan a dinner, either out or at home, with favorite foods that excite the eyes, nose and tastebuds. Consider oysters on the half shell, anything with garlic, salmon, shark or red meat, and any dessert with chocolate or rasberries (or both). Don't skimp on the champagne.
-
Step 4
Prepare to slow dance - at least one song - to a favorite tune. If you're not a dancer at heart, hold your lover tightly and simply sway.
-
Step 5
Segue to either a full body massage, using an aromatic oil, or a bubble bath for two. Too aggressive? Try a neck and shoulder rub, followed by caressing your valentine's face.
-
Step 6
Linger on the kisses throughout the evening. Vary them from light brushes lip to lip, to longer, more passionate engagements.

on 11/22/2005 All types of massage work well: feet, shoulders (especially under the shoulder blades), back, etc. Relieve your mate from typical chores; laundry and dishes alone will earn sweet rewards. I've been married 20 years, so I know what I'm talking about.
