on 6/30/2006 I work for the University of Pittsburgh and have found it a great way to get a degree while working full-time. In the university atmosphere, most managers are very flexible when you need to take a class during work hours, they are often OK with taking time off to study, or even studying on the job during slow periods. The tuition benefits mean that I pay virtually nothing for classes (i.e. about $150 for two three-credit classes). I have known many coworkers at the university who have earned first degrees as well as graduate degrees while working there. Plus, the resources of the campus are right there near your office. And the retirement and medical benefits are outstanding.
